Who is this artist? What is he about? What does his music sound like?... These are reasonable questions every first-time listener and music fan will want answered before adding a new artist to their cell phone or home media device.

Who is this artist?

“IAM SINCIIR is versatile but always smooth.” SINCIIR states confidently “I use my music to inspire listeners.”

For some, using a phrase as an artist name in the world of Rap music will come off unusual but IAM SINCIIR wants fans to know before pressing play, his music provides something that can’t be duplicated because it comes from his heart.

What does his music sound like?

"Audio Stimulation" is the phrase IAM SINCIIR labels his brand of music that uses his buttery flow and lyrical content to paint pictures. The young, energetic, raspy voice emcee uses a style that invites music fans to his exclusive interpretation of today's always evolving and wired culture. The deep and rich sound of his voice lays fluently on each beat as he sets the tone of the song, creating the mood that captures every listener.

Within the first 30 seconds SINCIIR draws you in as a listener and gives a compelling answer to why you should listen to the rest of the track. “I create images with my music. Before the song ends you will have an unforgettable experience, I guarantee it.”

You can pick up a bit of the New York revered lyricist, Jadakiss, because of the thick and intimidating tone in SINCIIR's voice. In key parts there's a sustaining smoothness that links back to the forever sleek icon, Snoop Dogg. As the music continues to play you might hear a different side of IAM SINCIIR. As if he graduated from the school of Rap legend, Mr. Ladies Love Cool James, the details of certain intimate moments are bold and colorful like billboards signs throughout the music. IAM SINCIIR's introductions uses a heavy intense voice in a manner that resembles the likeness of the famous mood setting master, the great Barry White.

Why does he do it?

“Hip Hop literally saved my life.” says Willingboro, New Jersey native IAM SINCIIR. “I love Hip Hop. I truly believe that I can take it to the next level and lead a new way for my generation while showing creativity and self expression. That’s what I’m living for. Since I started as a fan, it’s important to me to thank the legends and pioneers by continuing the art form with maximum effort and quality.”

Fighter at birth:

Born Taylor Lewis, it was courage that helped him to stay alive as he drew his first breath as an infant. His biological mother was fighting a drug addiction during her pregnancy causing him to fight the first six months of his life because of blood poison.

Still fighting the fight:

Through time he learned that his battles wouldn't stop there, from being born with the sickle trait to also having a couple of personality disorders.

The Teenage Struggle:

“Most teenagers go through a phase where they’re mad at the world. Growing up, I think I was the only one around me who had a legitimate reason.”  At the age of 12, it was revealed to him that he was adopted. This caused Taylor to have an identity crisis and started a downward spiral of negativity. Around the same time the temptation of Gang Culture started to be attractive to young Taylor. Growing up as an only child without a father and seeing that many of his friends were starting to pledge their loyalty to neighborhood sets created an inward struggle for Taylor. The brotherhood of gangs was something he thought about joining and committing his life to, but life had a different plan for Taylor.

After getting his jaw broken and wired shut from a fight, Taylor’s mother felt that she needed to do something before her son would be forever trapped in a life of hate and hostility. As a single parent, Taylor’s mother’s only real choice was to relocate so she could have a better chance in raising her teenage son. That's when Taylor and his mother moved from the noisy, uncontrollable, urban jungle of New Jersey to the quiet, country-like, always sunny Southwest Florida. This move was event number one; changing Taylor’s behavior and mentality took a long process that included a couple of arrests for assault, a brief period in juvenile hall and a court ordered house arrest because of threats to a male high school classmate.

It was during this time when Taylor started to truly change his life. He began listening to rap music obsessively and learned more about Hip Hop culture. The messages in the music opened his eyes as if the songs spoke to him directly. Artists like Joe Budden, T.I., and Drake brought meaning to his life, helped him understand the mistakes of his past and how he needed to change if he didn't want to end up an immature tragedy.

Taylor falling in love with rap music was event number two. This connection started a daily therapy of writing rhymes to express his feelings. This was the beginning of Taylor Lewis’s transformation to IAM SINCIIR.

Transformation of pain to passion:

Pain is a huge force in IAM SINCIIR's music. Because of mental and physical disorders he fell in a hole of depression that lead him to unhealthy eating habits and obesity. SINCIIR draws from this pain when he creates emotional songs, so the listener can hear the depth and the heaviness of his words as they mold into the beat. “My life experiences made me a fighter and a lover. I will either die chasing this dream... or living it.” After seeing how natural it was to express himself with lyrics and the positive reactions to his early recordings; Taylor knew that he found his true identity as a Hip Hop artist and realized what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Music helped Taylor to find his true self and drop the dark clouds that surrounded him from birth. He then started a new path to achieving greatness that made him want to improve himself mentally, physically and spiritually. This is when Taylor Lewis fully transformed to IAM SINCIIR.This chain reaction started to have a positive effect to Taylor’s personal health as well.

Encouraging the youth:

“I’m motivated by the challenge of convincing the youth around the world to embrace change and believe in self improvement. Hopefully my personal story combined with emotional imagery will provide great teaching moments because I know at first hand how much music can affect people lives.”

SINCIIR today:

When going through his personal website and social media accounts you can see that IAM SINCIIR doesn't want to play it safe and make conventional rap music that's now present in the 24 hour pop culture universe. There's no gimmick or trick formula to super stardom that SINCIIR is trying to follow. “I've built myself on a non-fiction foundation. I work really hard on expanding my skills. I research and learn about everything & anything to push my lyrics so I can present listeners with an entertaining and informative experience. As I constantly do that with new material, I know I will prove myself to music fans without the need of trivial fluff.” The combination of past and current well-known artists are embedded in IAM SINCIIR’s music and style.

After decade of musical growth and development; IAM SINCIIR has worked hard to combine his natural talent with a complete set of skills that gives him a limitless range to create whatever he wants. “I look at every song as an opportunity to have a conversation with whoever is listening. I want to create the soundtrack to people's lives.” With youthful ambition mixed with a relentless desire to be remembered as one of the best in his era, IAM SINCIIR shows that his heart is one thing music fans will never have to question. “I think courage, sets me apart from most Hip Hop artists these days. I have no problem being personal since there’s a real piece of me on everything I record.”
